Let's get sewing! This is the first in a series of classes to take you from no experience to being a pro. You'll bring your own sewing machine so you'll learn on the machine you will use as you continue your sewing journey.

About your instructor: Hello, my name is Carrie Penning Bush. I learned to sew way back in the 70s, with my mom and Home Ec class. I learned how to use patterns and do traditional things, but I have always enjoyed the freedom of being able to use my sewing machine to do whatever I want. I am a member of the Modern Quilt Guild and the Illini Country Stitchers guild. In our classes, I hope to empower you to do the things you want with fabric, thread, and your sewing machine.
